About Sioma
Sioma provides personalized text and audio stories designed for adults, including entertainment, quieter moments, optional personal themes and language practice.
Provider
Sioma is provided by Philippe Benoist, entrepreneur individuel (micro-entreprise), France. Full provider information is available in the Legal Notice.
Scope
These terms apply to use of Sioma services made available under these terms. Mandatory consumer rights that apply in a user’s country remain unaffected.
Accounts
Users are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for providing accurate information where required for account operation.
Story generation
Stories are generated from the options selected in Sioma. Generated results can vary even where similar selections are made.
AI-generated content
Some stories are generated with AI-supported systems. See About AI-generated content for product transparency and limitations.
Reading and audio
Depending on the feature selected, stories may be read, listened to, or used in a combined read-and-listen mode. Audio availability may depend on narration generation.
Google Play purchases
Purchases offered in the Android app are processed through Google Play. Google Play may apply its own billing, payment and account rules in addition to these terms.
Subscriptions
Where subscriptions are offered, the current plan, included usage, billing period and purchase conditions are displayed before purchase. See Subscriptions & Payments.
Individual purchases / credits
Where individual purchases or credits are offered, the included usage and applicable conditions are displayed before purchase. No fixed prices or allowances are stated on this page.
Prices
Current prices are shown at the point of purchase. Prices may vary by market, currency and applicable taxes.
Renewal
If a subscription renews automatically, the renewal information is shown before purchase and can be managed through the applicable Google Play account.
Cancellation
Subscriptions purchased through Google Play are managed and cancelled through Google Play. Cancellation normally affects future renewal rather than reversing already supplied digital content.
Refunds
Refund eligibility depends on applicable law, the circumstances of the purchase and the rules of the payment platform. See Consumer Rights for a plain-language overview.
Consumer withdrawal rights
Consumers may have statutory withdrawal rights. For digital content supplied immediately, specific consent and acknowledgement rules may affect how those rights apply. The information presented at purchase takes precedence for the relevant transaction.
Availability
Sioma may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical faults, third-party outages or changes to the service.
User responsibilities
Users must use Sioma lawfully and must not misuse accounts, attempt to interfere with the service, or use generated content in ways that violate applicable law or third-party rights.
Intellectual property
The Sioma service, brand, interface, software and underlying technology remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights.
Generated stories and audio
Access to generated stories or audio does not transfer ownership of Sioma technology, third-party voice models or other protected platform technology. Any permitted personal use is subject to the feature and purchase conditions shown to the user.
Prohibited use
Prohibited use includes unlawful activity, abuse of the service, attempts to bypass technical restrictions, and infringement of third-party rights.
Suspension
Access may be restricted where necessary to protect users, the service, legal compliance or security, subject to applicable law.
Account termination
Users may request account deletion through the public Account deletion flow. Sioma may terminate or restrict accounts where permitted by these terms and applicable law.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. Other limitations must be interpreted subject to mandatory law.
Changes to Sioma
Sioma may change features or these terms. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
Applicable law
French law governs these terms, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply under the law of their country of residence where those protections cannot be waived.
Mandatory consumer rights
Any mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected by these terms.
